Artists and Work being Exhibited:

Notarianni Glass

Notarianni glass

Amanda Notarianni and Charlie Mcpherson design and make contemporary hand blown forms for interiors. Amanda is one of the most exciting glass artists in the UK , combining blowing skills with coldworking techniques to produce work that is visually stimulating and challenging through its tactile qualities and optical effects. Charlie uses intricate cane work to draw the viewer into his work, polishing sections to conceal and expose details in his pieces.

Kerry O'Connor

Kerry O'Connor

Kerry specialises in both contemporary silversmithing and creates sophisticated porcelain products with a particular emphasis on items for the table and interior. Each product within her range is individually hand made by herself.

Julia Church Jewellery

Julia Church

Julia uses birch or beech for her jewellery, as these are hardwoods which give a smoother finish and quality of fine line. The technique of pyrography is the ancient art of burning wood. Burning patterns and images on to wood has been around since man. It was used as a decoration, using a poker, which would be heated in a fire. Julia uses a tool like a hotwire and burns onto wooden beads and shapes.

Faye Miller

Faye Miller

Faye likes to work in silver and sometimes combines it with plastic or wood to create unique contemporary jewellery pieces with a funky twist. Using both etching and reticulation techniques she aims to design pieces which appeal to all the senses - her pieces often vibrant in colour, have a dynamic, tactile quality which move with the wearer's body.

Michael Peckitt

Michael Peckitt

Michael's handmade designer jewellery is shaped from acrylic and anodised aluminium with fittings handcrafted from sterling silver. Michael works colour into his unique jewellery accessories. Aluminium is anodised to accept dyes and made into very fashionable bangles, bracelets and pendants.

Andrew Jennings

Andrew Jennings

After experimenting with sculpture and pottery, Andrew was introduced to woodturning and carving where he saw the potential for applying his art to this wonderful and organic material. He is happiest when turning free form, where the wood dictates the direction he takes therefore he works with nature and does not try to change it. Andrew wants his art to be tactile as wood is not a cold medium to work with, but something that was once living.
