Cetra Gallery

Cetra is a contemporary art gallery based in Heswall, on the Wirral. At Cetra gallery we aim to give both new and established artists an environment in which to display their individual art to its maximum potential.

Cetra gallery provides a quality service to its customers by allowing them convenient access to arts of all media, of the highest standard and all uniquely individual.

Cetra gallery also works with artists, whose work lends itself ideally to the corporate sector. From individual boardroom and foyer pieces to larger courtyard and entrance sculptures, Cetra gallery can commission work that is unique.

Artists and Work being Exhibited:

	Lisa Waldman Lisa has a fabulous new selection of ‘ready to wear’ contemporary pieces in silver now available to buy… anything from simple flower earrings and silver gem stone rings to gorgeous vintage pearl necklaces and the stunning butterfly range. Commissions are welcome. Wedding jewellery available.


	Judith Brown Judith Brown began making jewellery in 2004. Her individual style has developed following her studies of Fashion and Textiles, particularly Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University. "I have always worked with stitch and wanted to develop a way of working that would highlight the stitch itself. Working with fine wire rather than thread has enabled me to create forms which are intricate and hold their form over time, yet are still seemingly delicate." Judith has a fantastic Wedding range in Cetra Gallery.

	Heather Shaw Jewellery designer Heather Shaw produces handmade, quirky pieces of jewellery. Having a particular love for recycling and reclaiming unusual pieces, to incorporate in her jewellery. Collecting vintage, antique and found objects this Huddersfield based designer produces one off quirky items of jewellery.


	Natalia Thodoridou Natalia Theodoridou is originally from Greece and has a quirky range of jewellery. You have to see in person to experience the beauty in her work.


	Ewan John Ewan John is an illustrator and maker of things. "I have been labouriously making things out of paper since I was little, 3D cars and lorries, my own little newspapers and castles from old cardboard boxes. These days, to make it look like I have grown up, I draw, make and sell my 'art' to galleries and shops throughout the UK" Pop in to Cetra and see his fantastic and unique collection.


	Desdemona McCannon Desdemona has a wide selection of hand printed tiles of photographs that has inspired her in her weird and wonderful life.

	Kate Wimbush Kate’s creations continue to reflect her love of all things miniature, the exactness and precision required providing Kate with the stimulating challenge she enjoys. Her inspiration is found in many things, but especially through her life long love of ‘The Great British Seaside’ and Nature; in fact her latest bird collection is the result of being introduced to the Bird world at a very early age by her father, a keen Ornithologist!

	Amy Denton ALL MY WORK BEGINS AS A NOTION OF SOMETHING THAT HAS RANDOMLY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION. INSPIRATIONS TRAVEL THROUGH MANY SKETCHBOOKS FOR YEARS UNTIL A PHYSICAL ENTITY BECOMES APPARENT.


	Food for Eyes "I started out creating personalised mixed-media collages in the mid-90s, studying Fine Art, Photography & Time Based Media, then graduating in 2000 with a BA Hons in Film & Video. A genuine Photoshop-oholic I love mixing low-tech handmade craft techniques with all things shiny and digital. The range of cards I have on sale at Cetra Gallery has a quirky vintage feel with a cool contemporary twist... I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed designing them!" - food4eyes designs.


	Karen Turner Karen Turner succesfully combines personal expression with a social consciousness in her ceramic pieces. Karen uses a variety of techniques in her ceramics, including slip casting, press moulding and hand building, but is particularly drawn to the fragile quality that can be created by dipping various fabrics into liquid porcelain. Once fired, the fabric burns away, leaving a ghostly presence.
